Pray the Papers

The news can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, troubled or unsure what we can do. "Pray the Papers" is a simple way of responding: bringing the people, places and situations behind the headlines before God in prayer.

Meeting every Monday at 12 noon, we spend a short time looking at stories from the local community, the country and the wider world. These then become the starting point for our prayers: for those affected by conflict and disaster, for people in positions of responsibility, for those whose stories might otherwise be overlooked, and for the needs and concerns of our own community.

You do not need to know much about current affairs, and there is no expectation that you will pray aloud. Simply come, listen, reflect and join us as we place the life of the world before God.

Mondays at 12 noon.
Everyone is welcome.
